Another unforgettable Summer Camp season is in the books, and we couldnβt be prouder of the experiences, growth, and community we shared in 2025. From rugged coastlines to towering granite peaks, 370 youth adventurers joined us in exploring wild spaces, gaining confidence, and building lifelong memories.
Hereβs a look back at the highlights, milestones, and magic of the 2025 season with Lasting Adventures.
Our Program Footprint Expanded
This year, our adventures reached further than ever before:
- Yosemite National Park remained the heart of our summer camp programs β with classic 6-day and 13-day expeditions deep into Yosemiteβs backcountry.
- Olympic National Park offered coastal hikes, alpine lake swims, and rainforest immersion for campers seeking something uniquely Pacific Northwest in 6-day and 13-day programs.
- New this year, we introduced two epic 10-day experiences:
- A Sequoia High Country Teen Adventure, weaving through ancient groves and granite ridgelines.
- The Mammoth to Yosemite Teen Adventure, an ambitious route connecting Eastern Sierra grandeur to Yosemiteβs iconic terrain.
Together, these programs provided a rich variety of terrain, ecosystems, and challenge levels β meeting youth where they are and helping them grow.

- We awarded 57 scholarships, thanks to our generous donor community and a shared commitment to equitable access to the outdoors.
- We worked with many amazing groups this year, including Determined to Succeed, Camp Bob Waldorf, Georgetown Day School, and the Dunn School.
- Campers hiked countless miles, shared hundreds of meals under the stars, and grew in confidence, resilience, and connection.

Growth Beyond the Trail
More than just outdoor fun, each trip centered on youth development:
- Campers practiced Leave No Trace ethics, navigated challenging terrain, prepared meals in the backcountry, and supported one another through highs and lows.
- Many completed their first-ever backpacking trip, while others took on leadership roles, guided peers, and planned group logistics.
- We saw personal transformations β from nervous first steps to summit celebrations, solo journaling, and meaningful campfire reflections.
