How Jack Got Outdoorsy
Jack grew up climbing trees and stomping puddles in rural Texas. 
After high school, unsure of what came next, he took a NOLS course—and it lit a fire 
. That spark led him to a life of guiding, climbing, canoeing, and now… bringing that energy to Yosemite!
Inspired by Mentors
A pivotal Outdoor Educator course with Outward Bound introduced Jack to a powerful combination of teamwork, tenacity, and leadership. “It was built into the foundation of my being,” he says. 
His biggest mentor? Morgan—a redheaded Canadian legend with top-tier skills and infinite goofball energy. 
Why Jack Loves Guiding
“I love guiding for Lasting Adventures because I get to be my truest, goofiest self,” Jack says. 
He thrives on sharing his love for nature, helping others grow through wilderness experiences, and watching that transformation unfold.
